An inflated balloon bursts if you slightly push its surface with the pointed tip of a pencil.but nothing happened to an inflated balloon when you push it hard with a finger why?

here is your answer!!!

because the surface area of the pointed tip of a pencil is very less whereas the surface area of our finger is more when compare to the pencil top.

therefore more the surface area less will be the pressure.
