An inflated balloon full of air goes down slowly even though the knot

at the mouth of balloon is airtight And after a week all the air has escaped

from the balloon, explaing??? Plz tell in simple words

Balloons are made of rubber and they are permeable. Which means that there are very small holes and air can pass through them. It can even leak from the knot. The air pressure outside the balloon is very high and to match that the air molecules inside the balloon also move a lot, and in the process they collide with the wall of the balloon too and they can diffuse out.
