There are 7 phases in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). They are planning, requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance. SDLC consists of a complete structure explaining the way to develop, maintain and replace specific software system over time.

SDLC Tools is a collection of applications that help manage the SDLC process. There are nearly 1500 such tools in existence now. Some of them are Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket (Stash) and Bamboo.
