an inorganic salt contains 62.6% of Pb, 8.4% of N and (100 - 62.6 - 8.4) = 29% of O.

find percentage-mass ratio,

For Pb ⇒62.6/207 = 0.3

[atomic mass of Pb = 207amu ]

for N ⇒8.4/14 = 0.6

[ atomic mass of N = 14 amu ]

for O ⇒29/16 = 1.8

[ atomic mass of O = 16 amu]

now find the simple ratio of percentage mass ratio of each element,

Pb : N : O = 0.3 : 0.6 : 1.8 = 1 : 2 : 6

so, empirical formula of inorganic salt is PbN_2O_6 or, Pb(NO_3)_2
