An integer is chosen between 1and 100 .

we have to find the prabablity that it is divisible by 2

since  between 1and 100 .,they should not be counted

=> 100-2 =  98 numbers

all veen numbers are divisibe by 2

total numbers  = 2 ,4,6 ........... 98.

                       there is one even number after every odd 

the maximun number is 98 

so no. divisibe by 2 = 98/2 = 49

=>now lets find the probolaltiy

=> $\frac{49}{98} = \frac{1}2}$
