ASSAM is one of the city in India.Once upon a time,Lord SIVA ,who lived in Ahom City . And who always did meditation below the huge tree.One day,A named KAMDEVA was approached the SIVA when he was doing meditation.Kamdeva disturbed or teased the SIVA.IT makes Siva angry.He cursed the KAMDEVA....Then KAMDEVA was reduced .it news was heard by Ratnidevi who was the wife of KAMDEVA.She immediately approached the SIVA and prayed him .sometimes,prays make SIVA gratified. SIVA open his eyes and said,"what do you want RATNIDEVI?....She replied," God,please return my husband again.SIVA said OK!

WHEN the ahom kings were coming here there then Changed KAMROP from ASSAM.THEY WERE LIVING ASSAM ONLY600 YEARS
