  3. If the atoms loss an electron it becomes positively charged and if the electron is gained it becomes negatively charged
  4. The Radicals are two types based on the nature of charge cared by atoms They are:
  • cations means positively charged it is also known as Basic Radicals
  • Anions having negative charge they are also known as Acidic Radicals
