hey

Trigonometry deals with only right angled triangles

☆ There are six trigonometric ratios

☆ Sin

☆ Cos

☆ Tan

☆ Cosec

☆ Sec

☆ Cot

=> Sin is Inverse to Cosec

=> Cos is Inverse to Sec

=> Tan is Inverse to Cot

☆ Sin = opposite / hypotenuse

☆ Cos = adjacent / hypotenuse

☆ Tan = opposite / adjacent

☆ Sec = hypotenuse / adjacent

☆ Cosec = hypotenuse / opposite

☆ Tan = adjacent / opposite

here @ is used which indicates angle

ex :- Sin@

Here u go this an example

☆ A right angled triangle ABC right angled at B and AB = 10cm and AC = 15cm Then find SinC

sol :-

Given

AB = 10cm

AC = 15cm

SinC = AB/AC

= 10/15

= 2/3

Answer:

There are three basic functions in trigonometry, each of which is one side of a right-angled triangle divided by another. You may find it helpful to remember Sine, Cosine and Tangent as SOH CAH TOA. Because of the relationships between them, Tan θ can also be calculated as: Sin θ / Cos θ.
