Sn and Ag+1 are combining.

Here, tin can lose two electrons easily to form Stannous ion ( Sn+2)(Oxidized)

Ag+1 will gain one electron to form an atom of silver. (Reduced)

Sn -----------> Sn+2  +   2e- (Oxidation)

2Ag+1    +   2e-  -----------> 2 Ag  (Reduction)

So, the reaction is a redox reaction.
