An ionic solid A+ B- crystalise like rock salt if all atoms along one body diagonal are removed then what is formula of substance

If all the ions are removed from one body diagonal plane , then there will remain 2 Cl- instead of 4 , and the formula will be Na4Cl2 or Na2Cl or in terms of AB we can say A2B .
