Explanation:

Given :

Mass (m) of iron block = 23.4 Kg

Volume (v) of iron block = 3000 cm³

To find :

Density (d) in g/cm³ and Kg/m³

Solution :

Density can be found using the formula,

》Density (d) = Mass (m) ÷ Volume (v)

Substituting the values,

Mass = 23.4 Kg

  • 23.4 × 1000 g
  • 23400 g

Volume = 3000 cm³

》Density = 23400 ÷ 3000

  • 7.8 g/cm³

》Density (Kg/m³)

⇒ Density (g/cm³) × 1000

  • 7.8 × 1000
  • 7800 Kg/m³

∴ Density of iron block is g/cm³ is 7.8 g/cm³ and in Kg/m³ is 7800 Kg/m³.
