An iron container copper sulphate is kept it is observed that in few days the container developsizes hole.why does it happens give the chemical reactions for the same name the type of reaction

Iron will corrode (rust).

I suppose this is called a redox reaction, since the iron is being oxidised, and copper ions reduced.
