an iron nail is suspended in copper sulphate in test tube 1 and copper wire is diped in test tube 2.the tubes left undisturbed for 20 minutes what will happen to cuso4 solution in test tube 1..? What will happen to copper wire and ferrous sulphate solution in test tube 2 ? What will happen to iron nail in test tube 1​

The displacement reaction taking place can e written as :

Fe + CuSO4(aq) == FeSO4 + Cu

Iron + Copper Sulphate(aq) == Iron sulphate + copper

1) The initial blue colour of copper sulphate solution is changed to light green colour of iron sulphate.

2) The initial silver colour of iron nail is changed to reddish-brown colour due to coating of copper metal on the nail.
