An iron nail sinks in water while a ship floats in water.Give reason.

The density of a nail (as iron ) is larger than the water so it sink easily. The weight of the water displaced by the ship is equal to its weight so ship floats on water. Whereas the weight of the water displaced by iron nail is less than weight so iron nail sinks....
