HEIGHT OF CYLINDRICAL PART = 20m
Diameter = 2.8m
RADIUS = 1.4m
Volume of CYLINDRICAL PART = πr²h
= 22/7×1.4×1.4×20= 123.2cm³
Height of Conical part of pillar = 42m
Radius = 1.4m
Volume of Conical part= 1/3πr²h = 1/3×22/7×1.4×1.4×42 = 1811.04/21=86.24m³
Total volume of pillar = Volume of CYLINDRICAL PART+ Volume of Conical part = 123.2+86.24 = 209.44m³
Weight of iron pillar of 1³ = 7.5h
THEREFORE,
WEIGHT OF IRON PILLAR OF 209.44M³ = 7.5×209.44= 1570.8G
