Answer :

  • volume of pole is 2464 m³
  • weight is 12.32 kg

Given :

  • height is 4m
  • Diameter is 28cm

To find :

  • weight

Solution :

  • Radius = 28/2 = 14cm = 14/100 = 0.14cm
  • Radius is 0.14 cm

As we know that :

  • volume of the pole = πr²h

where r is 0.14, h is 4m

➳ volume of the pole = πr²h

➳ volume of the pole = 22/7 × 0.14 × 0.14 × 4

➳ volume of the pole = 22 × 0.02 × 0.14 × 4

➳ volume of the pole = 0.2464 m³

Hence , Volume of pole is 0.2464 m³

Now we have to find the weight :

Given that, the iron weight is 50kg per m³

  • weight = volume × weight per volume

➳ weight = 0.2464 × 50

➳ weight = 12.32 kg

Hence weight is 12.32kg

Answer:

Answer :

volume of pole is 2464 m³

weight is 12.32 kg

Given :

height is 4m

Diameter is 28cm

To find :

weight

Solution :

Radius = 28/2 = 14cm = 14/100 = 0.14cm

Radius is 0.14 cm

As we know that :

volume of the pole = πr²h

where r is 0.14, h is 4m

➳ volume of the pole = πr²h

➳ volume of the pole = 22/7 × 0.14 × 0.14 × 4

➳ volume of the pole = 22 × 0.02 × 0.14 × 4

➳ volume of the pole = 0.2464 m³

∴Hence , Volume of pole is 0.2464 m³

Now we have to find the weight :

Given that, the iron weight is 50kg per m³

weight = volume × weight per volume

➳ weight = 0.2464 × 50

➳ weight = 12.32 kg

∴Hence weight is 12.32kg
