Without using electricity, an Iron ring can be coated into copper by the process of galvanization.

  • Often called galvinizing, Galvanization is the process of application of an a protective coating of metal zinc to iron and steel.
  • This method is very helpful in preventing the rusting of both iron and steel.
  • The process of galvanizing a hot-dip is majorly used to provide a coating. in this method the pieces are immersed in a tub of molten hot zinc and then coated.
  • Thus, an iron ring can be coated by galvanizing and does not needs electricity.
