Given :-

dimensions of the cuboid :-

  • length = 30cm

  • breadth = 30cm

  • height = 42.6cm

dimensions of the cube :-

  • side = 3cm

ATQ, the solid cuboid of the given dimensions is melted and converted into small cubes of side 3cm.

we've to find the no. of cubes formed.

for that we needa divided the volume of cuboid by the volume of the cube.

hence, the no.s of cube formed = (30 × 30 × 42.5)/(3 × 3 × 3)

= (10 × 10 × 42.5)/3

= 4250/3

= 1416.6 approximately

hence, 1416 full cubes can be formed from the cuboid.

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

Dimensions of Cuboid :-

Length = 30 cm

Breadth = 30 cm

Height = 42.6 cm

Dimensions of Cube :-

Side = 3 cm

To Find :-

Number of cubes formed.

Formula to be used :-

Number of Cubes Formed = Volume of cuboid/Volume of the cube.

Volume of a cuboid = (length × breadth × height) cubic units.

Volume of cube = side × side × side.

Solution :-

Putting all the values, we get

⇒ Number of Cubes Formed = (30 × 30 × 42.5)/(3 × 3 × 3)

⇒ Number of Cubes Formed = (10 × 10 × 425)/30

⇒ Number of Cubes Formed = 425/30

⇒ Number of Cubes Formed = 1416.6 approx.

Hence, 1416 number of cubes formed.
