Answer:

Area of face of the washer = Area of iron plate having radious of 5 cm - Area of concentric circle having radious of 2 cm . (Area of a circle = Pie ? radious square) So, Pie ? 5 ?5 - Pie ? 2 ?2 =Pie (25-4) =(22?7)21=22?3=66 sq cm

Hello ❤️

Outer radius of the washer (R)= 4 cm

Inner radius of the washer (r)=2 cm

Area of the face of water=πR²-πr²

=π(R-r)²

=22/7(4²-2²)cm²

=22/7(16-4)cm²

=22/7×12cm²

=66cm²

Hope it will help you ☺️
