Solution:

Tom asks

“Are Tom and Jerry both of Type B”.

There are two possible cases :

Tom can be of type A or Type B

Case1 :

Let say Tom is of Type   A

then answer would be  Yes

Hence  Tom and Jerry  are both of Type B

Which contradicts the assumption that Tom is of Type   A

so This is not possible.

Case 2 :

Let say Tom is of Type   B  

then answer would be  No.

Hence  Tom and Jerry both  are not of Type B

But  Tom is of type B

Hence Jerry would  be of Type A

Tom - TYPE B

Jerry - TYPE A
