<ABC = 90°

AB = BC = x

AC = hypotenuse = y

i ) Area of ABC = 200 cm²

=> (base×height)/2 = 200

=>( x *x )/2 = 200

=> = 400

=> x = 400

=> x = 20 cm

ii ) In ABC ,

AC² = A + BC²

=> AC² = +

=> = 2x²

=> = 2×(20)²

=> y = 2×(20)²

=> y = 202 cm

Therefore,

Hypotenuse (y) = 202 cm

Or

y = 20 × 1.414

28.28 cm
