An isosceles has perimeter 40 and each of equal side 16cm find area of tringle

Perimeter of isosceles triangle= 16+16+X
40=32+X
X=40-32
X=8cm(third side)
Perimeter=2s=40
S=40/2=20
S=20, a=16,b=16 and c=8
Area of triangle=√s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)
Area=√20(20-16)(20-16)(20-8)
Area=√20*4*4*12
Area=√5*4*4*4*4*3
Area=√5*4^2*4^2*3
Area=16√15 cm
