Given :

Perimeter =30 cm

Equal side =12 cm.

So, let the third side be x.

12+12+x=30

24+x=30

x=30-24

Area of triangle :

(By heron's formula)

x=6 cm

Find :

semi perimeter =30/2

=15

Area of triangle =

 \sqrt{s(s - a)(s-b)(s-c)} \\  = \sqrt{15(15 - 12)(15 - 12)(15 - 6)}  \\  =  3 \times   5 \times 3  \times  3 \times 3 \ \times 3 \\  = 3 \ \times  3 \sqrt{15}  \\  = 9 \sqrt{15} \: cm ^{2}  </h2><h2>   </h2><h2>
