The complete question is

An isosceles triangle with equal sides 4.6cm and third side is 6cm find the perimeter and area of triangle?

●The area and perimeter of triangle are 10.44 cm^2 and 15.2cm.

●Perimeter of triangle=sum of all sides of triangle=4.6+4.6+6 =15.2cm

●for area of triangle draw AD perpendiclar to BC such that

BD=CD

BD=BC/2=6/2=3cm

ABD is right angled triangle so by pythagoras we have

AD^2=AB^2-BD^2

AD^2=(4.6)^2-(3)^2

AD=(12.16)^1/2

AD=3.48cm

●Area of triangle=1/2×(base×height)

Base =6cm height=3.48cm

Area=1/2×6×3.48

=Area=3×3.48

Area =10.44cm^2

●hence area and perimeter of triangle are 15.2cm and 10.44 cm^2 respectively.
