An long essay on my activities during a weekend in Lagos

I was a student at University of Lagos from 2011 - 2016 and my activities basically for my weekends were (in no particular order of importance):
1. SLEEP!!!!! - Studying Law in UNILAG could be quite stressful. Keeping up with your classes and academic activities as well as extracurrilar activities in Faculty of Law took up so much time and energy. So my weekends, especially Saturday Mornings were usually dedicated to those sexy long naps.
2. Eating out/Going to the Cinemas/Clubbing/ Going to Recreational Centres - Most outings during the weekends for my friends and me revolved around these things. We were quite serious with our studies so we usually banished most time-consuming fun things to do for the weekends. That meant more time to chill out and not have an internal guilt trip over wasting our tuition.
3. Undertake temporary jobs - If you are quite the serious youth in school with career goals and dreams; the weekends are the best time to undertake those temporary jobs such as marketing brand products, modelling, photography, ushering etc. You gain exposure and if you're lucky, a little cash in your pockets. You could undertake volunteering jobs as well.
4. Visiting your family - Best way to squeeze out money from your folks at home for your personal gigs you probably don't want them to know about and to avoid them from pulling surprise visits on you while you're back on campus.
5. Take on personal goals - You could join the Karate Club at Sports Center or do something different... Something you're not used to or you probably would not opt to participate in but for your current status as a student in UNILAG.
Time is short guys... A lot of things I said may sound funny till you graduate and realise the unlimited fun you could have had while studying in school.
