Dear Student,

◆ Answer -

Gas leaked = 3 kg

● Explanation -

For a gas cylinder, volume remains constant.

Initially,

P1V = n1RT

Finally,

P2V = n2RT

So,

P1/P2 = n1/n2

P1/P2 = (W1/M)/(W2/M)

P1/P2 = W1/W2

Substitute values,

10/8 = 15/W2

W2 = 15 × 8/10

W2 = 12 kg

So the gas leaked is -

Gas leaked = W1 - W2

Gas leaked = 15 - 12

Gas leaked = 3 kg

Thanks dear. Hope this helps you...
