Explanation:

Given that :

Initial speed (u) = 0 m/s

Final speed (V) = 30m/s

Time taken (t) = 120 sec

To find :

  • Acceleration(a) = ?

Solution :

As we know that, -—-—-------------

V = u +at

-—------------------

V= u +at

=> 30 = 0 + a× 120

=> 30 = a ×120

=> 30/120 = a

=> 1/4 = a

=> a = 0.25 m/s^2

Given :

Initial speed of a train = u = 0 m/sec.

Speed of train after 120 sec. =v =  30 m/sec.

total time =t =  120 seconds

To Find :

Acceleration after 120 seconds = a = ?

Explanation :

Using first equation of motion : v = u + a*t

==>

30= 0 + a/120

after solving ;

a = \frac{1}{4}  m/sec^{2}

hence , acceleration a = \frac{1}{4}  m/sec^{2}
