An object 1 cm high produces a real image 1.5 cm high when placed at a distance of 15 cm from a concave mirror. Calculate the position of the image and the magnification.

Ho=1

U= -15

BY USING LINEAR MAGNIFICATION FORMULA

I.E

Hi/Ho= -V/U

PUTTING VALUES

I.5/1= -V/-15

-V= -10

CANCELING MINUS SIGN

THEREFOR

V=10cm
