Here we have H 1 as 1 cm, The distance of the image formed is given as -15 cm.

And the focal length of the object is given as -10 CM.

On applying the lens formula and putting the above given values of you and if we get we or distance of the object as:-

\frac{1}{v} + \frac{1}{u}= \frac{1}{f}

⇒ v= -30 cm

Now since we get the value of v as -30.

We can calculate the magnification of the object we get by applying the formula, m = \frac {h_{2}}{h_{1}}

= \frac{-v}{u}

\frac{30}{-15}

h_{2} = -2
