Answer:

The image will be 10 cm tall.

Explanation:

Given that the height of the object, h1 = 1 cm

Let h2 be the height of the image.

Given that the magnification, m =10

We know that the magnififcation of a spherical mirror is the ratio of the height of the image (h2) formed by the mirror to the height of the object(h1)

i.e. m = h2/ h1

Substituting the values of h1 and m we get:

10 =h2/1

→ h2 =10×1 cm = 10 cm

Therefore the height of the image = 10 cm

Given ,

Hight of object (ho) = 1 cm

Magnification (m) = 10 cm

We know that , the magnification of mirror or lens is given by

 \boxed{ \tt{m =  \frac{ h_{i} }{ h_{o}} }}

Thus ,

10 = hi/1

hi = 10 cm

Therefore , the height of image is 10 cm
