An object 2cm high is placed at a distance of 16cm from a concave mirror which produces a real image of 3cm high.What is the focal length of the mirror and also find the position of the image?

h1=2 cm
u=-16cm
h2=-3cm
m=h2/h1=-v/u
so, v= -24cm
now by mirror formula
1/v+1/u=1/f
we can have 1/f=-5/48
hence , f=-9.6
u=-16cm
h2=-3cm

we can have 1/f=-5/48
