Answer:

h = 3cm

u = -15cm

f = -20cm

1/v-1/u = 1/f

1/v=1/f-1/u

1/v= 1/-20 - 1/-15

    =- 1/20+1/15

    = -3/60 +4/60

 1/v = 1/60

v=60cm

m = h'/h=v/u

     h'=h(v/u)

        =3(60/-15)

         =3×-4

     h' = -12cm

m = v/u

   = 60/ -15

m= -4

the -ve sign of m and h' shows that the image is inverted and real.

thus, a real and inverted image of height,12cm is formed at a distance of 60 cm on the other side of the lens .

I hope the answer is right
