Height of the object (h) = 3 cm

Distance of object from concave mirror (u) = -16 cm

Height of the virtual image formed (h') = 4.5 cm

Let's find 'v' first =

- v/u = h'/h

v = - u × h'/h

v = - ( -16) × 4.5 / 3

v = 24 cm

(i) Focal length of mirror = ?

1/f = 1/v + 1/u

1/f = 1/24 + 1/ -16

1/f = -1/48

1 × 48 = -f

f = -48 cm

(ii) Position of image (v) = 24 cm

Answer:

Hey here is your answer

Explanation:

height of the object (h)= 3 cm

>Distance of object from concave mirror (u)=

-16cm

height of the virtual image formed (h') = 4.5 cm

let's find 'v' first = -v/u = h'/h

V= -(-16) ×4.5/3

V= 24

1) focal length of mirror =?

1/f = 1/v + 1/4

1|f = 1/24 + 1/-16

1|f = -1/48

1 × 48 =-f

f = -48 cm.

2) position of image (v) = 24 cm.
