f= - 5, u= -15 As per convention both are negative
Now put in the formula
1/f=1/v+1/u
- 1/5= - 1/15 +1/v
1/v=1/15 - 1/5=(1-3)/15= -2/15
v=-15/2= -7.5 cm
Negative sign shows that image is real and in front of the mirror at a distance of 7.5cm
