Answer:

The screen should be placed at a distance of 37.5 cm on the object side of the mirror, to obtain a sharp image of the object. The image formed is real, inverted (because h' is negative) and enlarged in size. A concave lens of focal length 15 cm forms an image 10 cm from the lens.

Answer:  v = -37.5cm

nature of the image = real and inverted  size = +6 cm

Explanation:

height of object = +4cm

object distance = -25 cm   ( distance object to the left side of the mirror is negative)

focal length = -15 cm ( focal length of concave mirror is -ve

mirror formula = 1/v - 1/u = 1/f

1/v = 1/u - 1/f

1/v = (-1/15) - (-1/25)

1/v = -2/75

v = -37.5

nature of the image is real and inverted

h' = h(-v/u)

h' = 4*(-37.5/-25)

h' = +6cm
