Using the Formula, and the RIP convention (Real Is Positive)
Everything is real, therefore positive
1/v + 1/u = 1/f
1/v + 1/60 = 1/30
1/u = 1/60
u = +60
M = v/u = +1 and the + here signifies an inverted image.
