here u=-20cm,f=r/2=30/2=15cm
hence we know that by mirror formulae,
1/f=1/v+1/u
1/15=1/v-1/20
1/v=1/15+1/20
=5/60
v=12 cm
now for size,
also we know that, m =I/O= -V/U
I= I/5= - 12/-20
Hence,
I= 12×5/20
= 3cm
hence nature of the image,
1) on the opposite side of the mirror
2). virtual and erect image
3) dimnished or very small in size above the principle axis.
