To find:-height of image,u=?

soln:-

since, we know that,

1/f=1/v+1/u

therefore,

1/11=1/5+1/u

1/11-1/5=1/u

5-11/55=1/u

6/55=1/u

u=55/6

u=9.16cm

since u=9.16>1

therefore image is enlarged.

u=9.16,positive sign indicates image formed bihind the mirror thus virtual and errect.
