Solution :
➝ h1 = 5 cm
➝u =-25 cm
➝f = 10 cm
- ➝Lens formula : 1/v – 1/u = 1/f
➝1/v – 1/-25 = 1/10
➝1/v = 1/10 – 1/25 = (5 – 2)/50 = 3/50
➝V = 16.6
- Image is 16.6 cm behind the convex lens.
➝m = v/u
➝ (50/3)/-25
➝ - (2/3) (Image is real and inverted)
- m = h2/h1
➝ -(2/3) = h2/5
➝h2 = -10/3 = -3.33 cm
➝Image is 3.33 cm in size and is real and inverted.
