Given

u ( Initial velocity ) = 0 m/s ,

v ( Final velocity ) = 30 m/s

and t ( time taken ) = 10s

a( acceleration ) = v - u / t = -3 0 / 10 = -3 m/s^2

Now using 2nd equation of motion, we get

Distance = ut + 1/2 at^2 = 0 × 10 + 1/2 × -3 × 10 × 10 = 0 + 1/2 × -300 = -150 m
