☞Given :

→Applied force = 10N

→Initial momentum = zero (i.e., rest)

☞To Find :

⟶ Final momentum of object after the given interval of time.

☞SoluTion :

➢ As per Newton's second law of motion, Force is defined as the rate of change of linear momentum.

Mathematically, F = dP/dt

F denotes Force

dP denotes change in momentum

dt denotes change in time

➢ Momentum is defined as the product of masd and velocity.

⇒ F = (Pf - Pi) / dt

⇒ 10 = (Pf - 0) / 8

⇒ Pf = 10 × 8

⇒ Pf = 80 Ns

force = mass × acceleration

since, the body is moving with a constant force,

therefore the initial velocity will be zero at t = 0

= force = mass × velocity / time force × time

= mass × velocity

= 10 × 8

since we know, that mass × velocity = momentum

So, momentum = 80 kg m/ s
