Body starting from rest u=0 in first case s=2m,t=1sec In second case s=5m,t=2sec Total distance=total displacement(body moving in straight line)=7m Total time=3sec Average velocity=displacement/time =7/3m/s =2.33m/s Final velocity v=2.33m/s s=7m u=0 According to third law of motion v²-u²=2as (2.33)²=2a×7 5.43/14=a a=0.38m/s²
