Answer:

In one complete cycle, it comes back to its initial position, so the displacement of the object is zero.

Distance travelled = circumference of the circle = 2πr

                                                                               =2×7 22 ×3.5

                                                                               =22m

Given : an object completes 420 revolution in a minute around the circular path with speed 22m/s

To Find : radius of circular path

Solution:

Speed = 22 m/s

Time = 1 min = 60 secs

Distance = Speed * Time

=> Distance = 22 * 60 = 1320 m

Number of revolutions = 420

Hence Distance covered in 1 revolution = 1320/420

= 132/42

= 66/21

= 22/7 m

Circumference = distance covered  in one revolution

Circumference = 22/7  m

Circumference  = 2π (radius)

=> 2π (radius)  = 22/7

π = 22/7

=> 2(22/7) (radius)  = 22/7

=> radius = 1/2

Hence radius of circular path is 1/2 m
