An object covers 220 km of distance in the first 5 hours and then another 280 km of distance in the next 5 hours. The average speed of the object in meter per second will be-

As we know

For average speed we have

Vav: = total distance covered / total time taken

= 220+280 / 5+5

= 500/10

Average speed = 50 km/hr

Average speed = 13.88 m/s = 13.9 m/s
