If an object is moving, i.e. net non zero force, then it is not necessary it should move with a uniform direction and speed. The speed may increase or decrease, and the direction may or may not change.
But it is possible for it to move along a straight line if there is no change in the application of the force and its direction.

Yes it is possible by the of conservation of momentum...
If a body is in state of motion or rest it stays in it unless any external force is applied on it.
