Answer:

yes its possible

even if the net force is zero, an object can move with a constant velocity

assuming you have studied forces deeply, force is defined as rate of change of momentum

so now if velocity of a object is contant , there is no change in momentum with respect to time ( momentum= mass * velocity) so net force is zero

REMEMBER: it is only possible if it moves in a straight line, there must be a force even for changing the direction of speed whether it is constant or not!!

Answer:

Whenever there is a non-zero net force, it will constantly changing the speed or velocity of the object.

As time goes on the velocity will be changing for ever. This process will continue as long as there is force.

It ceases only when the force is zero. And thereafter it will move with constant speed, the speed that it has attained at the instant of cessation of force.

Answer to your question is , therefore, it will certainly move with constant speed. ( sometimes the constant speed may also be zero).
