Yes, it is possible. But the condition is that the unbalanced forces acting on the object must be equal in magnitude and opposite in direction. The object will travel by a uniform speed as told in Newton's First law of motion i.e. "an object will always be in the rest or uniform motion unless an external net unbalanced force act on it."

That is right. If you fly into space without any external forces to disturb you, i think you with fly forever(I Newto's 1st Law of motion is universally correct)
