A) Multiply the time by the acceleration due to gravity to find the velocity when the object hits the ground.

4s*9.8m/s^2

Velocity= 39.2m/s

B)let distance be d

d/t=v

d/4s=39.2m/s

d= 39.2m/s*4s

d= 156.8m

Therefore height of third floor is 156.8m

acceleration =9.8m/s^2
V=?
U=0m/s
t=4sec
a=(v-u)/t
9.8=(v-u)/4
9.8×4=v
39.2m/s=v
diatance=v/t
s=39.2×4
s=156.8m
