an object gets the velocity of 10 metre per second after applying a force of 500 Newton for 10 seconds. If the mass of the object is equal 1000 kg , what was it's velocity before applying the force

mass(M)=1000kg
final velocity(V) =10m/s
time(t)=10s
initial velocity (U)=?

We know that
force =mass × acceleration
F=M × A
500= 1000×A

as acceleration (A) =V-U/t

500=1000× [V-U/t]
500 = 1000 × [10-U/10]
500/1000 =(10-U)/10
1/2 ×10 =10-U
5=10-U
U=5m/s
