Answer:

a) his displacement

Step-by-step explanation:

Displacement is the measure of shortest distance possible between starting point and destination point,in our case clearly starting point and ending point is the same point, therefore displacement is zero.

hope it help you

Answer:

ok

Step-by-step explanation:

(a)From X to Y and Y to Z displacement= 200 as the finial point is Z

(b) average speed= total distance/ total time

Let the distance be 's'

then the distance from x to y = 500m= s1(Let it be s1)

the distance from Y to Z= 200m=s2(Let it be s2)

Then total Distance = s1 + s2

                                  = 500m+200m

                                  = 700m

Let the time be 't'

The time taken from X to Y = 1 minute and 40seconds= 100seconds=t1(let it be t1)

The time taken from Y to Z = 35 sceonds=t2(Let it be t2)

Then , the total Time= t1 + t2 = 100sec+35sec=135sec

Vavg(average speed)= Total / Time

= 700/135= 140/71= 1.972(approx.)

(c) average velocity = Total Displacement/Total Time

                                  200m/35=40/7=5.714(approx.)
